1. President Smt Droupadi Murmu conferred the 58th Jnanpith Award on Sanskrit scholar Jagadguru Rambhadracharya at a function in New Delhi. Jagadguru Rambhadracharya and the renowned Urdu poet and lyricist Gulzar have been selected for this prestigious award for 2023.

2. Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, officially laid the foundation for private renewable energy firm ReNew Power’s 22,000 crore integrated energy project at Bethapalli village in Ananthapuram district.

3. In Kerala, Tiranga yatras were held at Calicut, Kannur and Palakkad, in honour of the armed forces, for their decisive actions against cross border terrorism during the successful Operation Sindoor.

1. The Bihar government has decided to provide financial assistance of 50 lakh rupees to bereaved families of Army and Central Armed Forces personnel native to the state who sacrificed their lives in Operation Sindoor. Hikes DA to 55%.

2. Lieutenant General Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (Retd), a highly decorated officer of the Indian Army, has called upon the citizens to support the Armed Forces.

3. Director General, Border Security Force (BSF) Daljit Singh Chawdhary yesterday visited the Jammu frontier and lauded the troops for their invaluable contribution to Operation Sindoor.
