1. Sri Krishna Janmashtami being celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervour across the country yesterday.

2. PM Modi will inaugurate two major National Highway projects worth around 11 thousand crore rupees in New Delhi today. These projects include the Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road-II.

4. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) successfully implemented the ‘FASTag Annual Pass’ facility at 1 thousand 150 Toll Plazas across the country on the 79th Independence day. 5. Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla returned to India in the early hours of Sunday after his historic visit to the International Space Station (ISS).

Shukla, who has been in the US training for the Axiom-4 mission to the ISS over the past year, was welcomed at the airport by Union Minister Jitendra Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, and Isro Chairman V. Narayanan.

8. The Ministry of Railways has planned to manufacture Amrit Bharat 3.0 trainsets. The Amrit Bharat Express 3.0 will be designed based on the experience of Amrit Bharat 1.0 and Amrit Bharat 2.0 trains. Launched in 2023, the Amrit Bharat trains are meant to provide affordable service and high quality travelling experience for people in the lower-income and lower-middle-income category.

9. The India Meteorological Department has predicted very heavy rainfall in Kerala and issued an orange alert for five districts- Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Kannur, and Kasaragod.
