1. President Droupadi Murmu has extended warm greetings and wished Indians living in the country and abroad on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami.
It is celebrated on Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada.

1. Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that no agreements will be signed with other countries which go against the interest of the farmers. In an interaction with country’s farmers in New Delhi.

1. Golden jubilee celebrations of ‘Sholay’ :
To celebrate the Golden Jubilee of G.P. Sippy’s legendary film Sholay, the Maharashtra Postal Circle released two specially designed picture postcards and a presentation pack, featuring an exclusive golden cancellation.
