1. PM Modi has urged all organizations in Manipur to embark on the path of peace to fulfill their dreams and secure the future of their children. The Prime Minister stated this while laying the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth over ₹7,300 crore rupees in Churachandpur, Manipur.

2. The Prime Minister virtually inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development projects worth over 9000 crore rupees at Aizawl in Mizoram. These projects are related to multiple sectors including Railways, Roadways, Energy, Sports among others.

3. The Government has informed that over 68 thousand ponds have been created under the Amrit Sarovar Mission. The Mission was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in April 2022 with the goal of constructing or rejuvenating 75 Amrit Sarovars (ponds) in each district.

1. The Supreme Court is slated to pronounce on September 15 its interim orders on three key issues, including the power to denotify properties declared as “waqf by courts, waqf-by-user or waqf by deed”, which cropped up during the hearing of pleas challenging the validity of the Waqf (Amendment) Act, 2025.

2. The Bombay High Court has expressed strong displeasure over a circular issued by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) that provisionally promotes students who have failed in multiple semesters to higher years, terming the move “surprising” and “shocking.”

3. The Karnataka high court has stayed until the next date of hearing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) provisional attachment order relating to the properties of actress Harshavardini Ranya Rao. The actress is presently in judicial custody under the provisions of the Conservation of Foreign Exchange and Prevention of Smuggling Activities Act (COFEPOSA) in connection with a gold smuggling case.

4. Taking a stand on religious conversions, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said on Friday those who have converted to Christianity should identify themselves as ‘Christians’ and suggested that they should not use the name of their original Hindu caste.

The Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes, which is conducting the survey, has listed at least 32 castes that contain dual identities like ‘Kuruba Christian’, ‘Brahmin Christian’, ‘Vokkaliga Christian’ and so on.

5. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in Mumbai, on Thursday (September 11, 2025) hit out at Karnataka CM K. Siddaramaiah for the proposal to rename the Shivaji Nagar Metro Station in Bengaluru as St. Mary station. He accused the Congress Chief Minister of setting up an alternative religious system, and drawing a wedge between communities.

6. Delhi Police on Saturday registered an FIR on a Bharatiya Janata Party worker’s complaint over an AI-generated “deepfake” video posted by the Bihar Congress unit on its X handle that allegedly tarnished the image of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his late mother.

The AI-generated purported video of Modi’s late mother was shared in the post in which “the PM is seen dreaming about his late mother who is criticising him over his politics in poll-bound Bihar.”

1. At least nine people have died after a tanker lorry crashed into a procession heading for the immersion of the Ganpati idol at Karnataka’s Hassan district. A tanker lorry was found to have driven recklessly into a Ganpati immersion procession in Mosale Hosalli.

2. At least six workers are feared dead and 3 others injured in an accident at a stone mine at Bahadurpur of Nalhati in Birbhum district, West Bengal on Friday.

1. India’s retail inflation rose to 2.07% in August 2025, up from 1.61% in July, but remains well below the RBI’s 4% target.

1. Chief of the Naval Staff, Dinesh K Tripathi off the Indian Navy Car Rally for National Outreach in New Delhi. The Ministry of Defence in a statement informed that the rally will comprise 34 participants including serving naval personnel and members of the Navy Welfare and Wellness Association (NWWA). Furthermore, it will cover a 1700-kilometre route over eight days, traversing the cities of Agra, Lucknow, Varanasi, and Kanpur.

2. India has won the bid to host the 5th Coast Guard Global Summit in 2027, marking a significant milestone in its growing maritime leadership.

3. The Avadi-headquartered Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL), has secured two major contracts from the Indian Army worth a combined ₹2,565.46 crore.

The deal involves the complete overhaul ofPrime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the Great Nicobar Island Project as a transformative initiative set to make the island a major maritime and air connectivity hub in the Indian Ocean Region. 40 T-90 main battle tanks and 100 BMP-II infantry combat vehicles, reaffirming AVNL’s crucial role in sustaining India’s mechanised forces.

4. The Indian Navy commissioned INS Aravali, its latest Naval Base, on 12th September 2025 in Gurugram, in the presence of Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of the Naval Staff. Named after the resilient Aravali Range, INS Aravali will serve as a technological and logistical hub, supporting the Navy’s communication and Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA) infrastructure.
