According to police sources, the black box has been recovered from the site. Earlier, the Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad had recovered a digital voice recorder from the location.
2. The Andhra Pradesh government imposed a ban on the entry of Totapuri mangoes from Karnataka into Chittoor district. This decision has led to tensions between the two states, impacting farmers and traders. The Totapuri mango, known for its unique shape and flavour, is crucial for local economies in both Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

1. Indian Navy has achieved a major milestone in its quest for self-reliance by inducting the first-ever indigenously manufactured anti-aircraft gun barrels for its frontline Super Rapid Gun Mount (SRGM) systems. These barrels, now produced at the Field Gun Factory in Kanpur.
2. India is poised to make a significant leap in military technology with the imminent launch of the Extended Trajectory-Long Duration Hypersonic Cruise Missile (ET-LDHCM), developed under the Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) classified Project Vishnu. This missile is engineered to transform India’s strategic capabilities, particularly in the context of its security environment.
3. Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi conducted a significant two-day visit to Nagpur, focusing on detailed inspections of both government and private defence manufacturing units.
4. During Operation Sindoor, conducted between May 6–7, 2025, the Indian Air Force (IAF) reportedly inflicted significant losses on the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in one of the most intense air engagements in recent years. According to top defense sources, the IAF shot down at least seven Pakistani fighter jets in a series of dogfights and precision strikes, and India is preparing to release concrete evidence—including satellite imagery, radar data, and social media visuals—to substantiate these claims.
5. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh presided over the closing ceremony of the India-Mongolia joint military exercise, Nomadic Elephant, held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on 13 June 2025. The event was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Brigadier General Baatar Baljid, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of Mongolia.
6. The Indian Army has successfully conducted trials of the indigenous hybrid Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) named Rudrastra, developed by Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited (SDAL), at the Pokharan Firing Range on 11 June 2025.
7. The Indian Air Force and US Air Force conducted their first-ever joint special operations exercise, “Tiger Claw”, from May 26 to June 10, 2025, marking a new phase in bilateral military cooperation. The exercise brought together elite commandos from both air forces to strengthen operational synergy.
