1. Delhi unlock: All markets to reopen from today with some restrictions : Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced that all market activities will be allowed from Monday at 5 am, but with certain restrictions.

2. Karnataka Orange alert in the 7 districts in coastal Karnataka and Yellow alert in North Interior Karnataka. Met department has informed that widespread rainfall is expected in the entire state for the next 4 to 5 days.

3. J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha performed Bhoomi Pujan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Jammu. Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy also attended the ceremony.

18. ISRO is now accepting applications for two new online courses on GIS Technology and Earth Observation* for which interested professionals and students can register on the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS) website.
ISRO free online course on GIS Technology will be conducted from 21 June to 2 July 2021, the course on Earth Observation for Carbon Cycle Studies will be conducted from 21 June to 25 June 2021.

21. Indian Navy to recruit candidates for Short Service Commission Officer posts. Eligible candidates can apply online through the official site of the Indian Navy on joinindiannavy.gov.in.

The last date to apply for the posts is till June 26, 2021. This recruitment drive will fill up 50 SSC Officer posts in the organization. The course will be commencing from January 2022 onwards at Indian Naval Academy, INA Ezhimala, Kerala.

23. Brigadier Raghubir Singh who was decorated with the Maha Vir Chakra (MVC) for gallantry in the 1965 Indo-Pak war, passed away yesterday (13 June) at the age of 99.

The Rajputana Rifles battalion that he had commanded played a key role in the battle of Asal Uttar in the western sector during the war. Commissioned in April 1943 as a Second Lieutenant in the Hazari Guards of the erstwhile state forces of Jaipur, he participated in the Burma campaign of the Second World War.
