1. India administers 74 crore COVID vaccine doses; recovery rate stands at 97.51%

2. Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel will be the next Chief Minister of Gujarat.
Outgoing Chief Minister Vijay Rupani proposed the name of Bhupendra Patel in the legislature party meeting which was unanimously accepted.

3. B R Patel had a meteoric rise in state politics, starting at the municipality level and on way to becoming the CM in his first term as an MLA. He contested his maiden Assembly election from Ghatlodia constituency in Ahmedabad in 2017 and won by over 1.17 lakh votes, the highest victory margin in the state during that election.

4. The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal, touring the Country to mark 50 glorious years of victory over Pakistan during 1971 Indo-Pak War, arrived at Dahung. The Mashaal was received at Sessa, Arunachal Pradesh with full military honours.

5. The Victory Flame shall tour Rupa, Bomdi La and Tawang during the coming days and will remain with the Ball of Fire Division till 23 Sep 21 for participation in various events planned to commemorate the 50 years of war with Pakistan and liberation of Bangladesh.

6. Member of National Commission for Women Chandra Mukhi Devi has demanded immediate appointment of members in the women’s commission of Maharashtra. After taking the cognizance of rape and murder of a woman in Saki Naka area in Mumbai, NCW delegation visited the Saki Naka area and also met the relatives of the victim. The NCW team is expected to submit its report after its return to Delhi.

7. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will soon inaugurate 15,660 double bedroom houses at Kollur in Sangareddy district.

8. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET- UG 2021) for admission in Undergraduate Medical Courses was held across the country following COVID-19 protocols. NTA conducted NEET exam on September 12, 2021, from 2 pm to 5 pm.

9. Centre decides to set up 7 new Ekalavya Vidyalayas in Assam. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs would also set up 400 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras to promote tribal art and craft as well as to provide livelihood opportunities to the tribal population.

10. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai flagged off 120 ambulances in Bengaluru that will be part of a fleet of 710 ambulances operating under Arogya Kavacha 108 scheme.

11. Kerala is almost getting free from the fear of Nipah spread. Test results of 20 more persons turned negative taking the total negative samples to 108.

12. Four persons have died and one went missing in a cloud burst in Rafiabad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district in the intervening night of Sunday (12 Sep).

13. A police inspector was martyred when terrorists attacked a police party in the Khanyar area of Old Srinagar city on Sunday.

14. Minister for Civil Aviation lays Foundation Stone for GMR School of Aviation: Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia laid the foundation stone of the new building at the Special Economic Zone of the Hyderabad International Airport.
