1. Railways to modify Tatkal ticket booking system by making Aadhar based OTP authentication mandatory.

2. Centre approves two railways projects worth over six thousand 400 crore rupees covering seven districts across Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh. The projects include the doubling of Koderma – Barkakana rail line has been approved at a cost of the3063 crore rupees, while the doubling of the Ballari – Chikjajur rail line has been approved at a cost of 3,342 crore rupees.

In Rajasthan, five people died in a horrific road accident at Jamwaramgarh near Jaipur. Seven other persons were injured in this accident, of whom four are seriously injured. The incident occurred due to a head-on collision between a container and a car in Bhat ka Bas village.

1. The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) said it has mandated a new UPI payment mechanism for all registered intermediaries, who collect funds from investors, to enhance investor protection and financial transparency within the securities market.

2. The Centre has reduced the basic customs duty on crude edible oil including crude sunflower, soybean, and palm oils from 20 percent to 10 percent. This has resulted in the import duty differential between crude and refined edible oils increasing from 8.75 percent to 19.25 percent. The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution said.

3. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh will launch a month-long Special Campaign 2.0 for redressal of the grievances of Family Pensioners and Super Senior Pensioners in July this year.

1. Taiwan on Wednesday thanked India for rescuing 18 crew members of the Singapore-flagged cargo vessel, WAN HAI 503, which recently caught fire about 70 nautical miles off the Kerala coast. On Monday, the Indian Navy, in a closely coordinated Search And Rescue (SAR) operation with the Indian Coast Guard, DG Shipping and other stakeholders, safely rescued 18 out of 22 crew members.

2. The Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, Lieutenant General BKGM Lasantha Rodrigo is on an official visit to India from 11 June to 14th June to enhance bilateral military cooperation and explore new avenues for collaboration.

3. Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw took stern action against officials for providing unsuitable and old trains to BSF Personnel going for Duty to Kashmir from Tripura. Four officials from the Alipurduar Division have been suspended with immediate effect.

The highly anticipated Axiom-4 (Ax-4) mission to the International Space Station (ISS), which was set to mark a historic milestone for India, Poland, and Hungary, has been postponed following the detection of a liquid oxygen (LOx) leak in SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket during post-static fire booster inspections. SpaceX announced the delay on June 11, 2025.
