6. The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has announced that it plans to start door-to-door e-waste collection from households from next month. The move is expected to generate an estimated 500 tonnes of e-waste every month,

10. *KARNATAKA* : Bengaluru Rural Police said that they’ve busted a nine-member gang for allegedly helping foreign migrants, especially from Bangladesh, get Aadhaar card and other citizenship-related documents illegally. The accused used to charge the migrants between ₹500 and ₹1,000 for the service. The police also said that they’ve seized 31 Aadhaar cards, 13 PAN cards and 28 voter ID cards.

11. *KERALA* urges Centre to grant relaxations for wildlife sanctuaries, national parks and in state while declaring one-kilometre Buffer Zones around these Protected Areas as eco-sensitive zones.

12. *PUNJAB* : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann will flag off luxurious Volvo buses to Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport from the state on Wednesday. Kejriwal will flag off buses from Jalandhar.

13. *RAJASTHAN* : BJP’s Central Disciplinary Committee issues show-cause notice to its Rajasthan MLA Shobha Rani Kushwaha. She was suspended from the party’s primary membership yesterday for cross-voting in favour of candidate of opposition party in the Rajya Sabha Elections. The party has given her seven days time to clarify.

1. FM Nirmala Sitharaman dedicates to nation Dharohar – National Museum of Customs and GST in Goa.

2. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday inaugurated ‘Dharohar’, the National Museum of Customs and GST in Goa. The two-storey building is over 400 years old. It showcases artefacts seized by Indian Customs, including the manuscript of Ain-i-Akbari and replica of Amin pillars. It houses the ‘Battle of Wits’ gallery, showcasing the cerebral battle between smugglers and Customs officers.

3. Paytm has reportedly begun charging some of its users a small fee for mobile recharges done via the financial platform. This charge can be anywhere between ₹1 and ₹6, depending on how large the recharge amount is. The fee is being levied on mobile recharges paid for via UPI or a bank credit/debit card.

1. Celebrity fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella, 35, was found dead at her residence in Telangana, police said on Saturday. Police have seized a carbon monoxide cylinder from her bedroom and a case has been registered under the section of suspicious death.

Razzaque Adil, colleague of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, has penned a note praising Adivi Sesh’s latest film ‘Major’, which is based on the life of Unnikrishnan. “Adivi looks the part and gets Sandy’s mannerisms right…In some scenes, I felt like I was watching…real Sandy on screen,” he wrote, adding that ‘Major’ is a “well-made movie which gets most of the facts…right”.
