1. Over 185 crore 74 lakh COVID vaccine doses administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive.

12. Six workers were killed in a blast which triggered a fire in a chemical factory in Gujarat’s Bharuch district. The incident took place in the unit located in Dahej industrial area, about 235 km from Ahmedabad.

13. *HIMACHAL* : Four days after joining the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Jabna Chauhan, who had the distinction of being the youngest woman sarpanch of the country at the age of 22, has been booked in an old cement embezzlement case in Mandi district.

14. *J&K* ; A senior leader of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), Mohiuddin Aurangzeb Alamgir has been notified as a terrorist under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. He has been involved in Pulwama Central Reserve Police Force Convoy attack of 2019.

15. *J&K* ; Union Territory of J&K Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Govt of India, Apurva Chandra convened a meeting in Srinagar regarding preparedness and wide media publicity to be provided to the forthcoming 43-day Shri Amarnathji Yatra scheduled to commence from 30th of June this year.

16. *JHARKHAND* : Three people were killed and several injured after some cable cars on a ropeway collided with one another at Trikut hills close to Baba Baidyanath Temple in Jharkhand’s Deoghar district on Monday. Two Mi-17 helicopters are involved in the rescue operations in Deoghar district.

17. As per Jharkhand Tourism, the Trikut ropeway is India’s highest vertical ropeway with a maximum lens angle of 44 degrees. The ropeway, situated around 20 km from Baba Baidyanath Temple, is around 766 metres long, while the hill is 392 metres high.

18. Rescue operations underway by Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) with sister organisations at Trikut Ropeway, Deoghar.

19. A man succumbed to his injuries following an incident of stone-pelting during a Ram Navami procession on Sunday evening in Hirhi village of Jharkhand’s Lohardaga district.

20. Responding to communal clashes that broke out in Gujarat during Ram Navami processions, which left one dead, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Monday said that hate, violence and exclusion are weakening India.

“The path to progress is paved with the bricks of brotherhood, peace and harmony. Let’s stand together to secure a just, inclusive India,” Rahul further said.

21. *KARNATAKA* : BJP MP Anantkumar Hegde wrote to Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai demanding an investigation into “possible links” between the student Muskan Khan and “unseen hands” behind the hijab row. He claimed that Muskan’s act of standing in defence of the hijab had become global news and that several Muslim organisations rewarded her, followed by praise from Al-Qaeda chief Ayman al-Zawahiri.

22. *TELANGANA* : A group of scientists from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, IICT, Hyderabad have designed a hybrid material which can absorb greenhouse gas methane and convert it to clean hydrogen.

23. *UTTAR PRADESH* : BJP MLA from Sultanpur Vinod Singh, in a letter to UP CM Yogi Adityanath, said his constituency must be renamed as Kushbhawanpur. Sultanpur has many religious places which stress the belief that Kush, Lord Ram’s son, developed it as his capital and called it Kushbhawanpur.

1. Finance Ministry has said that tax collections during financial year 2021-22 has crossed 27 lakh crore rupees.

2. Adani Green Energy has surpassed Bharti Airtel to become the 10th most valuable company in India.

The company’s shares surged 20% on Monday to hit an all-time high of ₹2,786.20 on NSE. Its market capitalisation now stands at ₹4.22 lakh crore. Earlier this month, Adani Group became India’s third conglomerate to cross a market capitalisation of $200 billion.

DEFENCE:

1. India successfully flight-tested Anti-Tank Guided Missile HELINA. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and the Indian Army for this achievement.

2. A CH-47F (I) Chinook helicopter of the Indian Air Force on Monday set a record by flying the longest, non-stop chopper sortie in India, with the operation training task requiring it to fly from Chandigarh to Jorhat, flew a distance of 1,910 km in seven-and-a-half hours.

3. Chinook is a multi role,vertical lift platform, used for transporting men and material. It also plays an important role in Humanitarian and Disaster Relief Operations.

4. A phase-II flying training contract was signed between Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the Nigerian Army. .The agreement has been signed for imparting phase-II flying training on Chetak Helicopter for six officers of Nigerian Army Aviation.

5. In J&K Terrorists had deliberately taken shelter in mosques and madrassas with the dual aim of avoiding detection and inciting religious sentiments by instigating the use of force or firing by security forces. Officials said.
