1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. During his visit to Uttar Pradesh.

2. Election Commission of India (ECI) has instructed Bihar’s Chief Electoral Officer to treat Aadhaar as a valid proof of identity-though not of citizenship-for the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

3. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) and Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) will roll out the ‘Swacchotsav’, a fortnight-long Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2025 campaign from 17th September to 2nd October, focusing on cleanliness target units, clean green festivities, and SafaiMitra Suraksha Shivir.

4. Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the doubling of the Bhagalpur-Dumka-Rampurhat railway line covering 177 km across Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.

5. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will transfer the 28th installment of the Ladli Behna Yojana directly into the bank accounts of 1.26 crore women beneficiaries from Jhabua district on September 12 . Under the scheme, eligible women receive ₹1,250 every month through direct benefit transfer (DBT).

6. In Tamilnadu, educational institutions in some districts will remain closed on 11 Sep 2025, on the occasion of Martyr Emanuel Sekaran’s Commemoration Day. Schools and colleges in Ramanathapuram and Siva Ganga will remain closed on Thursday.

7. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath envisions a “Viksit UP” by 2047, emphasising higher education for rural youth and improved rural infrastructure. The state aims to become a $6 trillion economy, significantly contributing to India’s growth.

8. Haryana’s Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Krishan Kumar Bedi flagged off trucks loaded with relief material for the people of Punjab, who were facing the horrors of floods.

9. In Telangana, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has begun linking Property Tax Identification Numbers (PTINs) with Electricity Service Connections (USCs) of the Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TGSPDCL). With this, anyone paying residential tax while using it for non-residential purposes will be detected.

1. The Directorate General of Health Services has asked for changes in the new physiotherapy curriculum to remove the use of the “Dr” prefix for physiotherapists, saying it could mislead and confuse patients.

In a letter to the Indian Medical Association (IMA), the DGHS said several groups, including the Indian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IAPMR), had raised objections to the provision in the Competency Based Curriculum for Physiotherapy, 2025.

2. The Delhi High Court has ordered the Customs Department to release the artwork of Padma Bhushan awardee Late BC Sanyal, seized amid a dispute surrounding its valuation.

A division bench of Justices Prathiba M. Singh and Shail Jain observed there is no conclusive proof that the artwork was made in Pakistan.

3. Former Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna, who is serving a life term in connection with a rape case, has been allotted work as a library clerk in Parappana Agrahara prison. According to prison authorities, his responsibilities include issuing books to fellow inmates and maintaining records of borrowings as claimed by the Department. He is entitled to Rs 522 for each day of work.

4. Curfew-like restrictions have been imposed, and internet services have been suspended in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district following massive protests and clashes over the arrest of Aam Aadmi Party MLA, Mehraj Malik.

1. J&K Floods: Jammu-Srinagar Highway Reopens After 9 Days, it was closed due to flash floods and landslides. The 270-km stretch, which is Kashmir’s only all-weather road to the rest of India, had been closed since August 26. Though it briefly reopened on August 30, another landslide forced its closure, leaving thousands stranded and supply lines cut off.

2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a ₹1,500 crore aid package for flood-hit Himachal Pradesh, following an aerial survey and a review meeting in Kangra.

Bikramjeet Singh Bhullar, who claims that Shamshera’s makers violated his copyright. Bhullar claims that the movie is based on his literary work ‘Kabu na chhadein khet.’

1. First-Ever All-Women Sailing Team from Indian Forces to Sail Around the World! The expedition will include crossing the equator twice and rounding the three Great Capes, i.e. Cape Leeuwin in Australia, Cape Horn in South America and the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa.

The team comprises five Army officers, one Naval officer and four Air Force officers, who went through training for the last two and a half years, including a training expedition to Seychelles, covering 10,000 nautical miles.

2. The Indian Army replaced widely-used messaging platforms such as WhatsApp with its own SAMBHAV system during the high-stakes Operation Sindoor. This strategic pivot not only ensured secure communication but also reflected the broader ambition of Atmanirbhar Bharat in defense technology.

3. The first 3D Air Surveillance Radar (3D-ASR) – Lanza-N, naval variant of Indra’s Lanza 3D radar, one of the most advanced long-range air defence and anti-missile radars, is now commissioned aboard an Indian Navy warship. Following the first commissioning, additional radar systems are being installed across Indian Navy frigates, destroyers and aircraft carriers.

4. ISRO has officially transferred its Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) technology to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), marking the 100th Technology Transfer Agreement (ToT) facilitated by the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe).
