delhi govt advises all private schools in city to remain closed till january 15

2 A Bihar court on Sunday ordered police to register a rape case against senior IAS officer Sanjeev Hans and former RJD MLA Gulab Yadav in connection with the alleged rape of a woman at a hotel in Delhi in 2021. The duo has been accused of gang-raping her at gunpoint. The MLA also allegedly made a video of her.

3. Four members of a family died in their sleep apparently due to suffocation after they left a gas heater on inside their room overnight in Uttar Pradesh.

1. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday handed over more than 33,000 loan sanction letters totalling more than 1,550 crore rupees under various central government schemes during the credit outreach programme in Kota, Rajasthan.
