AI flight takes off from Russia’s Magadan to SFO with 216 stranded passengers, will reach early Thursday; carrying ‘food, essentials’. Air India has sent a replacement plane to ferry 216 passengers and 16 crew stranded in Russia’s Magadan after its Delhi-San Francisco flight was forced to land, the carrier said Wednesday. Air India flight AI173 developed a ‘technical issue’ with one engine and had to land at the remote Russian town.

12. Madhya Pradesh, CM’s Learn and Earn scheme – will be launched to teach employable skills to the youth. In the scheme, 703 work areas have been identified for training, the youth will also be given an allowance of Rs 8,000 to 10,000.
13. A goods train derailed in Assam’s Kamrup district on Wednesday. According to a railway official, twenty wagons of the coal-laden train jumped tracks at Singra near Boko. However, no injury has been reported.
14. Andhra Pradesh CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said : No early polls in the state, elections would be held as per schedule in mid of 2024.

2. BIHAR BRIDGE COLLAPSE: After a portion of the under-construction Aguani Ghat-Sultanganj bridge on river Ganga collapsed, Executive engineer suspended; govt likely to ban construction company SP Singla Construction Ltd. The bridge was supposed to connect Khagaria and Bhagalpur districts.
3. Jailed gangster Sanjeev Jeeva, an aide of gangster-politician Mukhtar Ansari, was shot dead on Lucknow court premises on Wednesday. He is 24 criminal cases.
