1. Lok Sabha will hold a special discussion on the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram today.

2. Vice President C P Radhakrishnan has launched Rajat Rashmiyan, formally marking the commencement of the silver jubilee celebrations of Brahma Kumaris’ Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC) in Gurugram, Haryana.

3. Union Government said that air travel operations are moving swiftly towards normalcy amid IndiGo crisis. The Ministry of Civil Aviation in a statement reassured that domestic airlines are operating smoothly and at full capacity, with IndiGo showcasing steady improvement in performance.

PM Modi has emphasized that country’s motto of Vikas Bhi, Virasat Bhi reflects a commitment to ensuring that modernization and urbanization strengthen culture rather than erasing India’s cultural roots. 7. The work of revising voter lists under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign is progressing rapidly in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa said that 100 percent work of SIR has been completed at more than 91 thousand booths of the State.

8. In Madhya Pradesh the second phase of the Special Intensive Revision, or SIR, of the electoral roll being carried out by the Election Commission is gaining momentum. Under this drive, enumeration forms have been delivered to a large number of voters across the state and the country.

9. In the Darjeeling District of West Bengal, the work of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral roll has almost been completed. 10. The Indian Institute of Astrophysics has celebrated a decade of successful operation of the UltraViolet Imaging Telescope, the flagship payload of AstroSat. A one-day workshop in Bengaluru highlighted UVIT’s scientific legacy, technical achievements and its role in shaping India’s future UV space missions.

11. Tamil Nadu has introduced its Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025 to attract new investments and promote domestic diversification into this emerging sector. Released at the Tamil Nadu Investors Conclave in Madurai, the policy positions the State as a high-potential hub for advanced and electromechanical toy production.

12. Dr Renuka Iyer has been appointed as the new Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN). Her appointment, effective from 26 February 2026.

13. In a major boost to Digital India, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) have jointly launched a paperless, contactless passport verification process through DigiLocker.

1. In Jammu and Kashmir a terrorist hideout was busted in a dense forest in Doda district, leading to the recovery of a rifle and ammunition. The operation was jointly conducted by the Special Operations Group of local police and CRPF in the forest area of Balara.

2. Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh inaugurated 125 strategically significant infrastructure projects constructed by the Border Roads Organisation across seven States and two Union Territories including Shyok Tunnel in Leh.

3. Indian Astronaut and Indian Airforce Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has said that Artificial Intelligence has become integral to every sphere of progress. Addressing the Delhi AI Grind ‘India’s first City Centric AI Innovation Engine in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Shukla highlighted that AI is engraved in each and every aspect and it is a tool to accomplish things and is being utilized extensively.
