Former cricketer Ambati Rayudu quits YSRCP: Less than a fortnight after joining the ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh in the presence of its chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, former India cricketer Ambati Rayudu announced his decision to quit the party on Saturday. Making the announcement, Rayudu said he wanted to stay out of politics ‘for a little while’.

16. TELANGANA State government earned Rs 75 crore through traffic challans after the ‘discount scheme’ was announced last month. Of the total 3.59 crore challans pending across the State, 85 lakh challans were cleared so far.

4. The successful test firing of the robotic 155×52 ATAGS was done by the DRDO at the Pokhran firing range in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer. The robotic gun system comprises the artillery system mounted on an armoured truck which is capable of taking the ammunition, loading it and firing it on its own.
