1. Election Commission has issued the notification for filing the nomination for the 16th Vice-Presidential election. Nominations can be filed till 19th of this month. Vice-Presidential Election will be held on 6th of August.

7. *ASSAM PSC RESULT 2022* : interview results for the post of Assistant Civil Engineer has been released on the official website of the Assam Public Service Commission, APSC, apsc.nic.in. The Interview was conducted by the Commission on June 14, 2022 to July 2, 2022.
8. *ARUNACHAL* : A Bailey bridge, connecting two strategic locations in Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal Pradesh, was washed away in a flash flood, The bridge over Oyong river near Kororu village connected Koloring, the district headquarters, with Damin — a vital link at the India-China border.
9. *DELHI* Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has told all concerned agencies to complete their pending tasks so as to decongest 77 traffic corridors and improve traffic flow in the national capital. Agencies including the PWD and DDA have been given three months to complete all the pending work.
10. Delhi Police has started the registration of the Kanwariyas who are going to take part in the Kanwar Yatra. The registration process, which began on July 5, will help in making the yatra safe and easy for the Kanwariyas and enable authorities to provide quick aid.
11. *GUJARAT* : PM Modi will visit his Lok Sabha constituency of Varanasi on Thursday during which he will inaugurate and lay foundation stone of multiple development initiatives worth over Rs 1,800 crore.
12. PM Modi will inaugurate the ‘Akshay Patra Mid-Day Meal Kitchen’ in Varanasi which has a capacity of cooking mid-day meals for around one lakh students.
13. *HARYANA* CM Manohar Lal Khattar has approved a proposal to provide free health facilities such as radiological and laboratory tests to HIV positive patients. The name of Aaditya Thackeray — former minister and the son of former CM Uddhav Thackeray — was however not included.
20. The new chief whip of the faction, Bharat Gogawale, said it was out of “respect” for party founder Balasaheb Thackeray. Thackeray camp joined the rebels, pushing up their number to 40. The party has 55 MLAs.

2. CRPF based at Banihal in Ramban district established a Special Free Medical Camp at Lamber area of Banihal for Amarnath Yatris and security forces.
3. Indian Navy’s frigate INS Satpura and a P8I aircraft are participating in this year’s ‘Rim of the Pacific’ naval exercise, known as the largest international maritime warfare exercise. the sea phase will commence on July 12. Navies of 26 countries are participating in this year’s exercise.
4. *AGNEEPATH SCHEME 2022* notification released for Army Agniveer recruitment. The registrations for the September rally begin on, July 5, 2022 on the official website of Indian Army, joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The last date to register for the Agneepath Scheme 2022 is on August 3, 2022. The candidates can apply for the post of Agniveer General Duty, Agniveer Technical, Agniveer Store Keeper Technical/ Clerk, Agniveer Tradesman 10th pass and Agniveer Tradesman 8th pass.
Candidates note that they will be recruited under the Army Act 1950 for a service period of four years which will include the training period as well. The Agniveers who enroll under the Agneepath Scheme 2022 is not eligible for any sort of pension and gratuity as per the Army Agneepath Notification.
