1. Tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan and Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex as well as Change of Guard Ceremony, which have been discontinued since January 1, 2022 due to COVID-19, will resume from next week for public viewing. Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex will open for public viewing from March 8, 2022 (Tuesday). It will remain open from Tuesday to Sunday (six days in a week) except on Gazetted Holidays.
2. Health and Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya participated in the health heritage walk at Purana Qila in New Delhi 04 March for creating awareness about health benefits of walking and also Jan Aushadhi Generic medicines.
3. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has announced that ‘Kavach’ System, the anti-collision test conducted by the Indian Railways to check the indigenous developed system to avoid rail accidents is successful. He held an on-site inspection on 04 March near Secunderabad
4. National Human Rights Commission, NHRC has taken suo motu cognizance of a media report on disappearing water bodies in Delhi due to alleged unplanned growth and negligence by the authorities. It has issued notices to the Delhi Government and Delhi Development Authority.
5. PM Modi interacted with students who have returned from the conflict-hit Ukraine in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi yesterday. Students shared their experiences with the Prime Minister.

7. 8th March, 2022 is celebrated as International Women’s Day. As a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) is celebrating a special campaign ‘Nari Shakti of North East’, a week long campaign, recognizing the extraordinary efforts of Women & Girls in North East India ahead of International Women’s Day 2022.
8. Andhra Pradesh : state Govt has rescheduled Intermediate exams in order to avoid a clash of the dates with JEE Main exams. Education minister Audimulapu Suresh announced a new schedule. He said Intermediate exams will be held after completion of JEE Mains from April 22 to May 12. Students, worried over the clash of exams, had urged the government to reconsider the exam schedule.
9. BIHAR : Bhagalpur: At least ten people died and nine others suffered serious injuries in a massive explosion that took place inside a house where the inhabitants were said to have been involved in the illegal firecracker business, District Magistrate Subrat Kumar Sen says the blast took place at the house of Mahendra Mandal in Kajbalichak locality of the town.
10. J&K : The iconic Jamia Masjid in Srinagar – the largest mosque in Kashmir – was opened for Friday prayers on 04 Mar, after a long closure over security reasons and pandemic. Over people attended the congregational prayers.
11. KARNATAKA : CM Basavaraj Bommai has proposed no increase in taxes in the Budget 2022-23 presented by him in the state Legislative Assembly on Friday.
12.MANIPUR , all arrangements have been made to conduct the final phase polling at twenty two assembly constituencies in ten districts of the State. These districts are- Thoubal, Kakching, Tamenglong, Noney, Jiribam, Chandel, Tengnoupal, Ukhrul, Kamjong and Senapati. Ninety two candidates including two women candidates and twelve Independent candidates are in fray in this phase.
13. NAGALAND ;: Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal announces more than ₹100 crore investments for Ayush Healthcare sector in Nagaland. One Integrated Ayush Hospital in Kohima inaugurated. Four integrated Ayush Hospitals be developed at Kihpire, Mokokchung, Nagaland University at Dimapur & Wokha. One Ayurvedic College be developed with ₹ 70 crores at Longleng.
14. TELANGANA: state power distribution companies (Discoms) are all set to hike power tariff from April 1. The northern power distribution company (NPDCL) and the southern power distribution company (SPDCL) together do the supply to all 33 districts. The two had already submitted proposals to the state electricity regulatory commission (TSERC) seeking a tariff hike of 50 paise per unit for domestic consumption and Rs 1 per unit for non-domestic sectors for 2022-23.

15. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has said that the government of India has transferred one lakh 82 thousand crore rupees till date to the farmers’ accounts under the PM KISAN Samman Nidhi yojana.
16. Oil rose around 2% to trade above 112 dollar per barrel. In a volatile session crude prices climbed as fears over disruption to Russian oil exports in the face of Western sanctions offset the prospect of more Iranian supplies in the event of a nuclear deal with Tehran.

17. The Information & Broadcasting Ministry has assured the film fraternity that suitable amendments would be proposed to the Cinematograph Act 1952 to combat film piracy. Addressing a Consultation Meeting of Film Associations through video conferencing, I&B Secretary Shri Apurva Chandra said the issues with respect to proposed Cinematograph Amendment Bill and anti-piracy issues will be addressed after consultation with the stakeholders of the industry.

Bollywood actors took to social media to express condolences on the demise of legendary cricketer Shane Warne. “You could not have loved the game of cricket without being in complete awe of the man. This is so heartbreaking,” wrote Akshay Kumar. “Still trying to grapple with the news of Shane Warne’s sudden demise. RIP Shane,” said Ajay Devgn.

19. Defence Expo, 2022 scheduled to be held in Gandhinagar has been postponed due to logistics problems being experienced by the participants. It was scheduled to be held from 10th to 14th of this month. The new dates will be communicated in due course.
20. Gen SF Rodrigues (retd) passed away on Friday. He was 88. Gen Rodrigues was born in Bombay in 1933. He was the chief of the Indian Army from 1990 to 1993. He was appointed the Governor of Punjab and Administrator of the Union Territory of Chandigarh on November 8, 2004.
21. PM Modi expressed grief over the demise of General SF Rodrigues. In a tweet on 04 March, He said, the nation will remain indebted to General Rodrigues for his exceptional service and contribution towards making India stronger. The Prime Minister said, General Rodrigues was respected for his deep strategic knowledge
22. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) developed Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMICs) have been used in radar imaging satellite modules of EOS 04, which was launched by ISRO on 14th Feb 2022. Many of the Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) were designed/ developed and produced at Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) DRDO and Gallium Arsenide Enabling Technology Centre (GAETEC) foundry of DRDO.
