pm modi inaugurates 3024 flats in delhi under in situ slum rehabilitation project

1. Union Cabinet has approved Nutrient Based Subsidy rates for Phosphatic and Potassic, P&K fertilizers for Rabi season 2022-23. The new rate will be effective from 1st of last month to 31st of March next year.

2. Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has announced a nationwide campaign for submission of Digital Life Certificates and use of face authentication app by pensioners in November.

3. This year, Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from 31st October to 6th November 2022.

4. 63 police officers from Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, Telangana, and Jammu & Kashmir have been awarded the ‘Union Home Minister’s Special Operation Medal’ for the year 2022. The award was given by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) for four special operations conducted by them in areas of terrorism, border actions, arms control, prevention of narcotics smuggling, and rescue operations.

5. ARUNACHAL PRADESH to get Northeast’s first fish museum. The museum in the NorthEast region (NER), with all fish species across the district from Tawang to Longding, to attract tourists, fish lovers and the museum will also serve as a training centre for fish farmers.

6. CHHATTISGARH celebrates its 23rd State Foundation Day on 1st November 2022 and as a part of the celebrations, Raipur will host the 3rd National Tribal Dance Festival. The National Tribal Dance Festival will be celebrated from 1st November 2022 to 3rd November 2022.

7. PM Modi inaugurated the three thousand and 24 newly constructed EWS flats at Kalkaji in Delhi under ‘In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation’ Project. He also handed over the keys of these flats to eligible beneficiaries at Bhoomiheen Camp at Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi.

10. MAHARASHTRA : Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar announced that an Electronics Manufacturing Cluster is to be developed in the Ranjangaon area of Maharashtra. The Electronics Manufacturing Clusters will be developed for ₹500 crores.

11. TELANGANA ;: Munugode Assembly by-election presents high-stakes battle for TRS, BJP. On November 3, nearly 2.4 lakh voters will decide the next representative of the Munugode Assembly constituency in Telangana.

The main contestants are Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy of the TRS, Palvai Sravanthi of the Congress, whose father was a five-term Congress MLA from Munugode, and Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy of the BJP, whose resignation from the Congress necessitated the by-election. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has fielded Andoju Sankara Chari, who hails from a Backward Caste community.

CRIME REPORT

1. Enforcement Directorate has summoned Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren on Thursday, November 3, for questioning in connection with the illegal mining case.

2. The Supreme Court on 31 October, reiterated the ban on the “two-finger test” in rape cases, warning that persons using such tests will be deemed guilty of misconduct. The bench of Justices DY Chandrachud and Hima Kohli regretted that such a method of examination was being used even today. The two finger test must not be conducted.

5. Ministry of Coal will launch the 6th tranche of auction of coal mines for sale of coal today (03 Nov). Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, will be the chief guest and she will launch the next tranche of auctions.

1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh interacts with senior hierarchy of Indian Navy as part of ongoing Naval Commanders’ Conference.

2. India on Wednesday successfully conducted the maiden flight-test of phase-II ballistic missile defence interceptor AD-1 missile off Odisha coast.

The Defence Ministry said the flight-test was carried out with participation of all ballistic missile defence (BMD) weapon system elements located at different geographical locations.

DRDO conducted a successful maiden flight-test of Phase-II Ballistic Missile Defence, BMD interceptor AD-1 missile from APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha on Wednesday.

3. India has emerged as a leading defence exporter in recent years and could fulfil Africa’s maritime, aerospace and defence requirements, with Mauritius, Mozambique and Seychelles becoming the major buyers of Indian arms during 2017-2021.
