1. 152nd birth anniversary of the father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi : President Ram Nath Kovind greeted citizens on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti and asked people to take pledge to strive for making India a country of his dreams.

Maharashtra : Metropolitan Magistrate’s court in Mumbai issued process against former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh for not appearing before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) despite issuing multiple summons to him in connection with a money laundering case. The court issued process against Deshkmukh under section 174 of the Indian Penal Code on 01 Oct.

15. The Meghalaya Transport Corporation bus, travelling from Tura in the West Garo Hills district to state capital Shillong, broke the railing of a bridge and plunged into the Ringdi river at Nongchram in the early hours of Thursday, 30 Sep. Six bodies were found on Thursday while 16 others were injured.

India and Nepal, the two sides started Ex- ‘SURYA KIRAN’ in Pithoragarh will end on October 3, 2021: The 15th edition of Indo–Nepal Joint Military Training Exercise Surya Kiran will be held from September 20, 2021, at Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand. The previous edition of the Exercise Surya Kiran was conducted in Nepal in 2019.
