1. GUJARAT : Two Managers of Maintenance Firm Oreva, 3 Security Guards: The 9 Men Arrested for Morbi Bridge Tragedy
Private group Oreva had been entrusted with repair work of the bridge which was opened to the public after the completion of the renovation work. But the local municipality had not yet issued any fitness certificate (after the renovation work), an official said.

1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched 75 new projects including the virtual launch of two helipads, one in Hanle and one in Thakung in Eastern Ladakh.
2. The Defence Ministry has informed that the first edition of the India-Mozambique-Tanzania Trilateral Exercise commenced at Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania on 27th October 2022. The Indian Navy has participated in the Maiden Trilateral Exercise with Mozambique and Tanzania. Indian Navy is represented by the guided missile frigate, INS Tarkash, a Chetak Helicopter, and MARCOS.

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited’s new Light Combat Helicopter has been developed to provide troops with close air support reports Janes.The multi-purpose Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) developed by India’s Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is being inducted into the Indian military after two decades of development.
