1. Prime Minister Modi has said, Mann Ki Baat’ is an excellent platform to bring to the fore the collective efforts of the people to the public. Sharing his thoughts in his monthly radio programme on Akashvani yesterday.

(a) He said, the recent developments like inauguration of the world’s largest leap engine MRO facility in Hyderabad, induction of INS Mahé into the Indian Navy, unveiling of Skyroot’s Infinity Campus in the country, reflect India’s new thinking, innovation and youth power.

(b) The Prime Minister said, achieving a major milestone in the agriculture sector, India has set a historic record with food grain production of 357 million tonnes.

(c) The Prime Minister highlighted Goa’s rich naval heritage in his Mann Ki Baat address, drawing attention to a unique museum that showcases the evolution of India’s naval aviation.

3. Union Minister for Rural Development Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the Saras Aajeevika Food Festival 2025 in New Delhi.

4. The Union government convened an all party meeting in New Delhi to ensure smooth functioning of both the Houses of Parliament. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh chaired the meeting attended by 50 Leaders from 36 political parties.

5. The 26th edition of the HornbillFestival will begin today at the heritage village of Kisama in Kohima, Nagaland.

6. The Election Commission has revised the schedule for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in 12 States and Union Territories. The Commission has extended the deadline for enumeration to the 11th of next month. The draft electoral roll will now be published on the 16th December and the final electoral Roll will be published on 14th February next year.

7. The Union Home Ministry (MHA) wrote to the offices of Governors and Lieutenant Governors of all States and Union Territories on November 25 that the name of “Raj Bhavans” “may be” changed to “Lok Bhavans” as the former “smacks of colonialism”.

8. The Weather Department has said, the Cyclonic Storm Ditwah over southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining north Tamil Nadu-Puducherry coasts moved nearly northwards with the speed of 12 kmph during past 6 hours.

2. Delhi Police Special Cell has busted a terror module linked to a Pakistan-backed gangster arresting three people.

3. In Jammu and Kashmir, the Poonch administration has suspended the Virtual Private Network, (VPN) services across the district. It is aimed at strengthening the surveillance capabilities and ensuring public safety. The request for curb came from the security forces, who flagged that VPNs were being misused to bypass standard internet monitoring mechanisms.

4. The Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police has filed a fresh FIR against Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi in the National Herald case on a complaint by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

In Tamil Nadu, eleven people were killed and 54 injured in a bus accident near Tirupattur in Sivaganga District. The incident occurred when two government buses from Aranthangi to Dindigul and Tirupattur to Karaikudi rammed against each other near Tirupattur.

DEFENCE News

1. Border Security Force (BSF) has seized 272 Drones coming from Pakistan inside Punjab border to drop arms, ammunition and narcotics since January this year. It has also recovered over 367 kilogram of Heroin. Inspector General, Punjab Frontier, Dr Atul Fulzule said, the various other drugs like ICE and opium have also been seized.

2. Rescue efforts in Sri Lanka under operation Sagar Bandhu intensified today as an Indian Air Force MI-17 helicopter carried out a dramatic airlift. Twenty-four people, including 12 Indians and 10 other foreigners, two Sri Lankans and a pregnant woman, were flown safely to Colombo, along with three critical casualties. Meanwhile NDRF teams continued relief and rescue efforts at Puttalam and Badulla.

3. The Iron Bird test facility for the indigenous Saras Mk2 civil aircraft was inaugurated at NAL to validate systems integration and flight controls.

4. The Cabinet Committee on Security is set to approve the ₹65,000 crore Super Sukhoi upgrade in December, modernizing 200 Su-30 fighters to 4.5+ gen standards with advanced avionics and radar.

5 Indian Army to Deploy FPV Kamikaze Drones Against Pakistan’s BAT Teams: The Indian Army inducted first-person-view kamikaze drones with anti-personnel warheads to counter Pakistan’s Border Action Teams along the LoC, enhancing anti-infiltration tactics.

6. Rudram2 Hypersonic Hardened-Shelter Killer Nears Maturity: The Mach 5.5, 350 km Rudram-2 evolved into a hypersonic bunker penetrator for hardened aircraft shelters, capable of disabling sheltered J-20, J-10C, and JF-17 jets, disrupting enemy air operations without full collapse.
