(e) PM Modi asserted AYUSH has played a crucial role in the fight against Covid-19 global pandemic, adding that there is growing interest in Ayurveda and Indian medicine around the world.
(f) On the 82nd anniversary of Udham Singh’s death, which is on 31 Jul, the prime minister pays tribute to the revolutionary.
(g) Highlighting fairs that take place in different parts of the country, Modi urges citizens to visit these places.
(h) Highlighting Commonwealth Games 2022, PM Modi said, “Team India is representing the country at CWG 2022. I convey my best wishes to all players and athletes.”

1. NIA conducts searches at multiple locations into activities of ISIS module case.
It carried out searches at 13 premises of suspects in Bhopal and Raisen districts in Madhya Pradesh; Bharuch, Surat, Navsari and Ahmedabad districts in Gujarat, Arariya district in Bihar, Bhatkal and Tumkur City districts in Karnataka, Kolhapur and Nanded districts in Maharashtra and Deoband district in Uttar Pradesh.
2. *UTTAR PRADESH* :A special task force of UP police has arrested 18 people today in connection with a paper leak racket of Lekhpal examination.
3. *MADHYA PRADESH* : The main accused in communal violence during a Ram Navami procession in Madhya Pradesh, Sameerullah Khan (30), carrying a reward of Rs 10,000 on his head, was arrested from the Khaltaka area of the Khargone district on Sunday.
Stone pelting had occurred during a Ram Navami procession in Khargone on April 10, leading to clashes between two communities and arson.
5. *MAHARASHTRA* : The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is carrying out search at the residence of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut in Patra Chawal land scam case.
6. *HARYANA*: Six people have been arrested for allegedly making extortion calls to four Haryana MLAs. The MLAs had received death threats and extortion calls from multiple phone numbers between June 24 to 28.
7. *WEST BENGAL* Sacked minister Partha Chatterjee, who is at the centre of a multicrore school job scam, claimed that the cash during raids by the Enforcement Directorate did not belong to him. He also said the “conspirators” will be unmasked in due time.
The ED made fresh seizures of Rs 8 crore from the bank accounts of companies linked to Chatterjee’s close associate Arpita Mukherjee.

1. Over 53 lakh Income Tax Returns (ITRs) were filed till 8 pm yesterday as there was no indication about the extension of the July 31 deadline from the government. The Income Tax Department tweeted at 8.45 pm that 4,95,505 ITRs were filed in the past hour. This is the first time in three years that the deadline hasn’t been extended.
2. The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) backed by the government of India will facilitate loans to small and medium businesses and individuals to buy agri-drones. The drones will be the Kisan Drones built by startup Garuda Aerospace. A single loan can be up to ₹10 lakh with 5% interest depending on the drones and accessories purchased.

1. The fourth Edition of India Oman Joint Military Exercise AL NAJAH-IV between contingents of Indian Army and the Royal Army of Oman is scheduled to take place at the Foreign Training Node of Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan starting today.
The Royal Army of Oman contingent comprising 60 personnel from the Sultan of Oman Parachute Regiment have arrived at the exercise location.

The terrorist, who was later identified as Kupwara-resident Akhtar Hussain Bhatt, was killed by security forces after an eight-hour-long gunfight in the Wanigam Bala area of Kreeri in Baramulla district on Saturday.
