Delhi is the most polluted city of the world . And winters are most terrible here . The Diwali and the introduction of winter in the country increases the pollution level in Delhi. The Delhi government is working to reduce the levels and has been taking many measures for the same.
Environment Minister of Delhi Gopal Rai has inaugurated 150 anti smog guns .
These guns will help in reducing the level of pollution in Delhi .
What is an Anti Smog Gun ?
Anti-smog gun is a device that spews fine nebulised water droplets into the atmosphere so that the smallest dust and polluted particles are absorbed. The gun is connected to a water tank which is mounted on a vehicle. It is designed in such a way that it converts the water into a fine spray with droplets size of 50-100 microns by passing it through high-pressure propellers.
The pollution has been a drastic problem for Delhi and many steps have been taken for the same . And these measures have also shown some positive results .
Afterall when compared with previous year , this year Delhi has seen 30% reduction in the pollution levels . With the contribution of people and the government we can achieve more success in curbing pollution levels.
