PM Modi’s Successful Visit To Kuwait

Modi

Our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 2-day visit to Kuwait was initially diplomatic on
the invitation of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. But later it also included
meetings with unofficial authorities like visiting the Indian Labour Camp in Kuwait and the Gulf Cup
football tournament’s opening ceremony.

During his visit to the Indian Labour camp, he inspired the Indian laborers with his humble and
heart-touching words like, “If the laborers and farmers of our country work for 10 hours a day, then
he has to work for 11 hours a day.”

He added, “If you work for 7 hours for 7 people in your family, then I have to work very hard because
I have a family of 140 crore people.”

It was a very inspirational session as it boosted the morale of the Indians working in Kuwait living
away from family for jobs and also filled them with a sense of security as the Government of India is
looking out for them.

He began his speech by saying, “It would be an opportunity to chalk out a roadmap for a futuristic
partnership for the benefit of our people and the region,” which speaks about his plans to work on
bilateral trade in the coming future.

This PM’s visit will enhance the diplomatic ties between the two countries and help stabilize the
Middle East, especially Syria’s recent growing agitation.

At the end of his visit, Kuwait also conferred PM Modi with their highest honor award named “Order
Of Mubarak Al Kabeer”. This award is given to royal and highest-ranking official authorities as a sign
of flourishing friendship.
