Honoring the Land of Kurukshetra
Modi’s speech also paid homage to Kurukshetra, the historic battleground of the Mahabharata, calling it a symbol of courage, righteousness, and duty. He said this land’s message—to fight for truth and justice—is what inspires India’s approach in modern times, too. Drawing parallels between ancient values and contemporary challenges, the Prime Minister underlined that the spirit of Kurukshetra keeps guiding national policies even today. Security in Development While laying emphasis on national security, PM Modi also spoke about the ongoing development projects in Haryana and in the region. He highlighted improvements in infrastructure, agriculture support, women’s safety, and rural development. A strong nation, he said, is not one which only defeats terrorism but simultaneously uplifts its citizens and builds opportunities for the youth. Message of Unity and Strength Finally, towards the end of his speech, Modi called upon all for unity among people and alertness to the divisive forces that work against stability in the country. He said terrorism strikes when societies are divided and weakened, but the unity of India, along with its collective resolve, has now emerged as its biggest shields. He added that every citizen has a role in maintaining harmony and supporting the nation’s security efforts. A Vision for a Fearless Future PM Modi concluded by saying that India’s future will be built on courage, confidence, and national pride. He assured the people that the country is fully ready to face any challenge whatsoever, from terrorism to global uncertainties, and it would keep marching ahead with resolve.
