Odisha: During his visit to Odisha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at opposition parties for misleading the public and conspiring against the development of the state. Addressing a mega rally, PM Modi said that opposition leaders are more interested in gaining political power than in the interest of the country, and this has become an obstacle for India’s path of development.

He said Odisha made rapid progress in infrastructure, education, and health, the possibility of a shared vision between state and central government.
“Odisha has a lot of potential, but it needs a government that works for the people and not focuses on its own interests,” he said, urging the people of Odisha to support the BJP in the upcoming elections.
