New Delhi:- In a historic and grand event at Rashtrapati Bhavan, Narendra Modi took the oath of office for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister of India. This makes him the second leader in the country’s history to serve three consecutive terms, following Jawaharlal Nehru.

Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured 293 seats in the recent general election. Although the BJP alone secured 240 seats, the alliance’s overall majority was bolstered by key allies such as the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Janata Dal (United) JD(U), ensuring a stable government.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by over 8,000 guests, including laborers from the Central Vista project, railway staff involved in the Vande Bharat trains, and beneficiaries of various central government schemes, reflecting Modi’s focus on inclusive development.
