BHOPAL, 24 MAY 2024 : Lok sabha election 2024 phase 6 polling time and date : the sixth phase polling will be conducted on may 25th following the summary of votes cast in five of the seven phases of the lok sabha election which are scheduled on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20, respectively, in the phase 6 voting will take place on 58 lok sabha constituencies, which span 8 states and Union Territories, some crucial states and union territories, such as Bihar, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi will cast their tickets in phase 6 polling. On June 4, votes will be counted.

The phase 6 polling of the 18th general lok sabha election will be conducted on May 25. Voting will start at 7 AM and conclude at 5 PM.

Lok Sabha Election Phase 5 Constituencies

In this phase, a total of 58 Lok Sabha constituencies including 8 states and union territories will go to vote . The states and UTs in phase 6 are: Bihar (8), Haryana (10), Jammu and Kashmir (1), Jharkhand (4), NCT of Delhi (7), Odisha (6), Uttar Pradesh (14) and West Bengal (8).

Remarkably , voting in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag-Rajouri, adjourned in Phase 3, will also be held during the sixth Phase of the Lok Sabha elections.

In the sixth- phase of lok sabha election 2024, overall 889 candidates from eight states and union territories will compete. Across these regions, 1978 nominations were registered for the 57 parliamentary constituencies. The deadline for filing nominations for phase 6 for all 07 States/UTs (excluding delayed poll in PC 3- Anantnag-Rajouri of Jammu & Kashmir) was May 06, 2024. After the review of all nominations filed, 900 nominations were found to be valid.

Among the crucial candidates in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections are: Bansuri Swaraj, Kanhaiya Kumar, Manohar Lal Khattar and Deependra Singh Hooda,Manoj Tiwari.

Summation of Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 –

Voter turnout in the fifth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections in 49 constituencies avove the 2019 figures, with provisional data at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday indicating a turnout of 62.15%. In the fourth phase, voting turnout was 67.25% across 96 constituencies in 10 states and Union Territories. The third phase reported 65.68% turnout over 94 constituencies in 10 states and two Union Territories.
The first phase recorded 66.14% turnout across 102 constituencies in 21 states and Union Territories. The second phase turnout 66.71% across 89 constituencies in 12 states and one Union Territory.
