Following the tragic Karur rally stampede, which took the lives of 31 individuals and injured many others, officials have made their first arrest regarding the incident. Media reports indicate that TVK district secretary Mathiazhagan has been detained for his role in the alleged mismanagement that resulted in the tragedy.
