1. The Supreme Court instructed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to vacate its headquarters near Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi. The Court set a deadline of the 15th of June for AAP to vacate the premises.
2. The probe into the blast at a café in Bangalore is likely to be handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA). At least ten people were injured when a blast took place at Rameshwaram Café in Brookfield in Bengaluru on 01 March. The terrorist’s movement was caught on CCTV and has been examined by the Police.
3. The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested six individuals, including two public servants, over bribery charges in Madhya Pradesh. The case pertains to the alleged acceptance of a bribe to the tune of Rs 20 lakh, said to have been received by the two officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
4. The Supreme Court on Monday rapped Tamil Nadu minister Udhayanidhi Stalin over his contentious “eradicate Sanatan dharma” statement, questioning his decision to seek consolidation of FIRs filed against him after allegedly abusing his right to freedom of speech and expression.
5. The Enforcement Directorate on Monday issued a fresh summon to Trinamool Congress leader Mahua Moitra in relation to the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). According to the reports, the investigating agency has called the expelled MP for questioning on March 11.

1. An interoperable payment system for internet banking transactions, as envisaged in RBI’s Payments Vision 2025 is likely to be launched this year. Internet Banking is a preferred channel for payments like income tax, insurance premiums, mutual fund payments, e-commerce, etc.
2. India’s electronics manufacturing sector is set to grow 15 per cent to be worth USD 115 billion in 2024, with players continuing to focus more on higher levels of value addition in terms of components and development of products.

6. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is likely to cancel the banking licence of crisis-hit Paytm Payments Bank, according to a Hindu Business Line report on Monday. Apart from revoking the licence, the report said, the RBI is also likely to appoint an administrator to oversee the daily operations.
In case the RBI revokes the licence, it would be the first such instance in the banking sector in 20 years.

Varun Tej Konidela made his Bollywood debut with Operation Valentine in which he essayed the role of an air force, leaving his fans impressed. After its theatrical release, we hear that the makers have now sold the digital rights of the film to Prime Video for its streaming. Moreover, sources have revealed that the non-theatrical rights for the Varun Tej film have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 50 crores.
According to the sources, the budget of the film was Rs. 43 crores, so Operation Valentine is expected to have made a profit, even without considering its box office numbers.

1. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and top Indian Navy commanders will review maritime security challenges during a conference onboard one of the Navy’s aircraft carriers in the Arabian Sea. Discussions will include China’s military presence in the Indian Ocean and the targeting of cargo vessels by Houthi militants.
2. Swedish defence major SAAB on Monday announced that it will start producing the iconic Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon systems at a production facility in Haryana by next year, months after receiving the approval for 100 per cent foreign direct investment (FDI) for the mega-project.
3. The sale of 31 MQ9-B Sky Guardian Drones to India is expected to be fast-tracked without objection from lawmakers. The proposed deal includes technology and equipment and was announced by US President Joe Biden during PM Modi’s visit.

The Indian Navy will commission the newly inducted MH-60R Seahawk (a maritime variant of the Blackhawk helicopter) multi-role helicopter on March 6 Mar at INS Garuda, Kochi marking a pivotal moment in India’s defence modernisation journey. The Seahawks squadron will be commissioned in the Indian Navy as INAS 334.
5. In a significant departure from traditional promotion norms, the Indian Army has introduced a new Human Resources (HR) policy aimed at retaining domain specialists within its ranks. The policy, which came into effect on 01 January 2024, seeks to promote domain specialization by allowing officers to continue working in specialized fields such as AI, space, IT, nano-technology, robotics, and weapons design, even after reaching higher ranks.
6. The Indian Air Force’s esteemed Navigation Training School (NTS), located at Air Force Station Begumpet, celebrated its platinum jubilee in a grand ceremony recently. Known affectionately as ‘TERNS,’ the NTS holds the prestigious title of being one of the oldest training establishments within the Indian Air Force (IAF). The celebration, marked by the attendance of numerous Air Force personnel and veterans who have been part of the NTS’s rich history, took place on March 1.
