Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was assaulted on August 20, 2025, during a ‘Jan Sunwai’ (public hearing) at her residence in Civil Lines. Delhi Police have launched an extensive investigation into the attack. Preliminary reports suggest that Sakriya had conducted a recce at CM’s house 24 hours before the attack, which shows that the attack was planned.
