Bhim Rao Ambedkar in the parliament, Arvind Kejirival launched Dr Ambedkar Samman
Scholarship scheme for the promotion of Dalit StudentтАЩs education.
Arvind Kejriwal has also made promises to take care of Dalit Student's education abroad if he
returns to power. This scheme can really be a game changer which can shape DelhiтАЩs political
power as elections are soon going to take place in Delhi.
Now the question is who is eligible for the Dr Ambedkar Samman Scholarship scheme?
тЧП Firstly Dalit children can apply to take benefit from the scheme.
тЧП And secondly, the children of Government employees will be given priority by the State
Government.
Under the scheme, the State Government will cover for the children's education, their expenses
on commute and any additional stationary expenses that are essential for the education of the
children.
Arvind Kejriwal, former Chief Minister of Delhi, struck a master move by bringing this scheme
along with releasing the statement that what Amit Shah said about the father of our constitution
was absolutely disrespectful.
