The first Sub-National Immunization Day for 2022 for administering Polio vaccine drops is being conducted from 19th June 2022 in 11 states/ UTs of the country – Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
In Delhi booths will be set up at 110 Delhi Metro stations to reach out to more people as part of the pulse polio immunisation programme.
Polio booths will be operated in coordination with St. John’s Ambulance Brigade and Directorate of Family Welfare, Delhi government.
