Womens mostly opt for cardio exercises like cycling and running . But forget that as they age women tend to loose muscle mass which makes them more susceptible to weak body .
Thus strength training is a beneficial exercise for women as they would have strong muscles and joints .
Strength training is using body weight qgainst your self . People may add some basic weights your workout routine . There are many elements to strength training like resistance or weight lifting .

Women vs men

One should always be lifting at an effective intensity for growth, progressive overload and effective recovery, regardless of gender. Thus women and men can train equally.
However there is some difference between men and women practice .
Women tend to have more estrogen in their body which makes their recovery a lil fast then men .
Women’s performance , metabolic rate and recovery varies throughout their cycle due to differences in circulating hormones such as estrogen .

Bulking
Women typically tend to fear that they would bulkup by strength training . Which is very hard in real life .
What they need to understand is women have way less testosterone in body which makes it way harder for them to gain muscle to look bulky.
So all women Don’t shy aways from lifting weights.
