New Delhi: Carnage and horror marked the face of a brutal terror attack that unfolded at an aerospace company in Istanbul on Monday, killing four, injuring several others. The incident has sent shock waves across the nation as security measures are enforced nationwide and the people cry out for justice.

Attack Details

An attack was initiated by armed robbers who entered the facility; they took many people hostage for hours. Chaos characterized the early hours of the morning, as shooting and blasts described the assault. Emergency services were able to reach the area fairly quickly but, in response, the situation quickly intensified into a stand-off with the police after the hostages were taken.

It confirmed four fatalities in the first wave of attacks while several are reported to have sustained injuries. Two people who lost lives were security personnel, and two employees from the company whose names are not known so far.
