1. India and Russia are advancing their strategic partnership as NSA Ajit Doval met top Russian officials in Moscow and discussed security, multilateral cooperation, and preparations for President Putin’s upcoming India visit.
2. India and Russia signed a formal protocol to deepen bilateral cooperation in various industrial sectors. The agreement was reached during the 11th session of the India-Russia Working Group on Modernization and Industrial Cooperation, held at Vanijya Bhawan in the national capital.

1. US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have agreed to meet in the coming days.

In yet another shift in global trade policy, the United States has imposed a sweeping wave of new import tariffs, ranging from 10 to 50 per cent on nearly 70 countries, sending ripples through international markets. These taxes mark the highest U.S. tariff levels since 1934, reaching a level not seen in nearly 90 years.
