1. 17th edition of the BRICS Summit to be held on July 6 and 7th. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arrived in Rio de Janeiro.
The BRICS grouping during the the 17th BRICS Summit in Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro on Sunday condemned the Pahalgam terror attack in the strongest terms and echoed India’s position for adopting a “zero tolerance” approach towards terrorism and shunning double standards in countering the menace.
2. Pakistan was open to handing over terrorists Hafiz Saeed and Masood Azhar to India, former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said. However, Hafiz Saeed’s son, Talha Saeed, hit back saying Bilawal’s statement was wrong.
