1. The International Health Regulations of 2005 are amended by the 77th World Health Assembly, taking into account 300 recommendations from member states. The purpose of amendments is to strengthen nations’ capacity to anticipate and address pandemic and public health emergencies of global concern.

2. Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy congratulated PM Modi Wednesday on his party-led coalition’s third consecutive victory in the parliamentary elections and said he was looking forward to India’s presence at the peace summit concerning the Russia-Ukrainian war in Switzerland next week.

6. Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams flew to space for the third time on Wednesday along with a colleague, scripting history as the first members aboard Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft to the International Space Station.
