1. The President of India, Smt Droupadi Murmu received H.E. Dr William Samoei Ruto, the President of the Republic of Kenya at Rashtrapati Bhavan yesterday.

2. PM Modi holds talks with 🇰🇪Kenyan President H.E. Dr William Samoei Ruto at Hyderabad House, Delhi.

(a) India to provide Kenya USD 250 million line of credit for modernising agriculture.

(b) India and Kenya has agreed to increase its cooperation in technology and innovations.

(c) Kenya has decided to join the Global Biofuels Alliance and the International Solar Alliance.

KENYA is a country in East Africa with coastline on the Indian Ocean. Kenya was a colony of the United Kingdom from 1920 until 1963. Since its independence, it has been a republic.

3. Khalistani separatist Lakhbir Singh alias ‘Rode’, a designated terrorist under the Indian law, has died recently in Pakistan, where he had taken refuge after his uncle Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale was killed in 1984 during an army action.

According to the reports he is the Khalistani terrorist and the leader of the banned terrorist groups Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) and International Sikh Youth Federation (ISYF) & died in Pakistan of ‘heart attack. He was an accused in various cases and had a Red Corner notice issued by the Interpol at the request of India.

4. 🇺🇸 US Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday (Dec 5) created history by casting the most tiebreaking votes in the Senate (32nd voting). Harris broke John Calhoun’s record which was set at 31 tie-breakers. The voting came on the nomination of Loren Alikhan to be a US District Judge for the District of Columbia.

5. A Dubai-bound SpiceJet flight made an emergency landing in Pakistan’s Karachi after a medical emergency on board. According to the airlines, a SpiceJet Boeing 737 aircraft operating flight SG-15 (Ahmedabad-Dubai) was diverted to Karachi after a medical emergency involving a passenger.

6. Minority Affairs Minister Smriti Irani held productive discussions with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah on deepening cooperation for Hajj, She said both nations have agreed to continue to work together to make the Hajj process as convenient and as seamless as possible with best provision of services for all Hajj pilgrims.

1. 🇬🇧UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on Monday announced a series of new steps to crack down on soaring immigration in the country. Bans international students from bringing families.

2. The renewed fighting between Israel and Hamas has entered the sixth day on Wednesday with the Israeli military carrying out deadly bombardments in the Gaza Strip. The World Health Organization’s executive board is set to hold a rare emergency session on Dec 10 to discuss the health crisis in Gaza and the West Bank.

3. The 🇺🇸US State Department will impose visa bans against individuals involved in undermining peace, security or stability in the occupied West Bank, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

4. 🇺🇸U.S.President Joe Biden called Tuesday for the condemnation of “sexual violence” committed by Hamas, after allegations of rape and other acts during the October 7 attacks on Israel, which the Palestinian militants deny.

5. A special court in Pakistan ruled on Monday (Dec 4) that former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan and former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi would be indicted in the cipher case again on December 12. In the case, both face accusations that they leaked a diplomatic cable.

6. Two days after the surprise eruption of Indonesia’s Mount Marapi, the rescuers have discovered the bodies of 22 people so far from the slopes of the volcano.

7. People evacuated buildings in the Philippine capital Manila on Tuesday after an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck off Luzon.

8. Eighty-five civilians were killed in a village in Nigeria’s Kaduna State after an army drone was accidentally fired at them. The President orders an investigation.
