1. PM Modi reached Lion City in 🇸🇬 Singapore yesterday afternoon on the second leg of his two nation tour after concluding his successful visit to Brunei.

2. Big investment has been announced by a leading Singapore group ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi visit. The company will invest around 90 thousand 280 crore rupees in the next four years.

3. 🇮🇳 India and 🇧🇳Brunei signed an MoU for cooperation in the operation of the Telemetry, Tracking, and Telecommand Station for Satellites and Launch Vehicles. The two countries also decided to elevate the bilateral ties to Enhanced Partnership to further strengthen, deepen relationship in all areas of mutual interest.

The delegation level talks took between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sultan of Brunei Haji Hassanal Bolkiah in Bandar Seri Begawan. PM Modi highlighted that India supports ‘vikasvaad’ or (Developmentalism), not ‘vistarvaad’ (Expansionism).

4. In US, four Indians, including a woman, died in a tragic road accident involving five vehicles in Texas. The victims had connected through a carpooling app and were travelling to Bentonville in Arkansas during the Labour Day weekend.

1. 🇨🇳China’s Meteorological Centre (NMC) issued a red alert for Typhoon Yagi , which is expected to bring strong winds and heavy rain to the country’s southern regions.

2. In 🇺🇦Ukraine, at least six officials, including members of the Cabinet, have stepped down from their positions ahead of an anticipated major government reshuffle .

3. In Sri Lanka, the postal voting process for the Presidential Election officially commenced yesterday. The Election Commission has made postal voting available to over 7 lakh 12 thousand government officials. Postal voting will also take place on Thursday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

4. 🇧🇩Bangladesh, terrorist Sheikh Aslam, also known as Sweden Aslam, has been released on bail from Kashimpur High Security Central Jail in Gazipur near Dhaka on Tuesday night. He was wanted in 12 different cases including that of murder and arms.

5. The 2024 Edition of the Chief Science Advisers’ Roundtable -CSAR is scheduled to be organised at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris, France on Friday.

6. Boko Haram Attack On Village Leaves 81 Dead In Nigeria : Suspected fighters from Boko Haram attacked a village in north-eastern Nigeria and left multiple people dead, with the members of the group setting fire to shops and homes during the assault. The attack took place on Sunday afternoon.

7. At least four people were killed and nine injured in a shooting at a high school in Winder, Georgia, United States. According to media reports, students were evacuated from the scene of the shooting and one suspect, believed to be a 14-year-old boy, was taken into custody.
