1. Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced that Bihar’s makhana, recognized as a global food, will be exported to Europe and other Asian countries, in addition to the USA, Canada, and Arab nations.
2. An Indian student from Hyderabad, who went to the US for his higher studies, was shot dead by miscreants in Texas, former Telangana minister and BRS MLA T Harish Rao said. The victim, Chandrashekar Pole, was reportedly working part-time at a gas station in Denton, Texas, when the incident occurred.

1. The Pakistani government on Saturday wilted under pressure as it signed an agreement with protesters to end the demonstrations in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) that raged for five days and left 12 people dead and hundreds injured. Even though the Shehbaz Sharif-led government succumbed to pressure, it called the deal “a victory for peace”, a face-saving gesture.
