1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarks on a three-day visit to 🇧🇳Brunei and 🇸🇬Singapore : PM Modi reaches Bandar Seri Begawan on first leg of his two- nation visit to Brunei and Singapore; Inaugurates new Chancery of the High Commission of India in Brunei.

2. India has achieved 40th rank among 132 economies globally in the 2023 edition of Global Innovation Index (GII) published by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

3. In Dubai, the newly established Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Regional Office and Centre of Excellence met with principals and heads of CBSE-affiliated schools in the 🇦🇪UAE.

1. At least 129 prisoners were killed and 59 others injured in an escape attempt at the Makala Central Prison in the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

5. Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence (MND) plans to boost its defense by buying over 1,000 additional Stinger missiles from the United States. This move comes in response to increased military threats from China.
