1. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is on a five-day visit to Australia.
He will also co-chair the 15th Foreign Ministers’ Framework Dialogue with his Australian counterpart Penny Wong in Canberra.

On the second leg of the visit, Dr Jaishankar will travel to Singapore on the 8th of this month, during which he will address the 8th Roundtable of ASEAN – India Network of Think Tanks.

2. PM Modi has extended his best wishes to Duma Boko on his election as the President of Botswana.

3. External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar on Sunday highlighted the significance of QUAD and Australia’s foundational role in the partnership.Jaishankar emphasized the pivotal role of Australia within the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD) during his visit to Brisbane.

1. The 2024 United States presidential election, the 60th quadrennial presidential election, is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 5 November 2024. Voters in each state and the District of Columbia will choose electors to the Electoral College, who will then elect a president and vice president for a term of four years.

The race between Democratic candidate Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump is still too close to call, with only two days to go until Election Day.

2. Devotees were attacked at a Hindu temple in Canada’s Brampton by a group of people allegedly Khalistani extremists on Sunday. In the videos which are doing rounds on social media, a group of men can be seen thrashing people with sticks outside the Hindu Sabha Mandir.
