1. India despatched humanitarian assistance to Cuba. In a social media post, External Affairs Ministry’s Spokesperson, Randhir Jaiswal said that a consignment of 90 tonnes of nine ‘Made in India’ Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) left Mundra port for Cuba.
2. Consul General of Japan in Mumbai, Yagi Koji said that the selected students from Maharashtra will be given on-the-job skill training in Japan for three to five years under the Technical Intern Training Programme. He said that the first batch of students from Maharashtra will go to Japan this month.

1. Earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Reichter scale struck Myanmar on Sunday afternoon jolted Dhaka and adjoining areas in Bangladesh.
