1. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri’s recent visit to Japan has been highlighted as a significant step in reinforcing the strong friendship between India and Japan. 1. Awami League Leader and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Thursday (November 28, 2024) called for the release of an ISKCON leader arrested by the authorities in Bangladesh ‘without delay’. Speaking out for the first time since the fall of her government on August 5.
Bangladesh, the High Court refused to intervene in the ISKCON-related violence issues after being informed that the authorities concerned have taken necessary measures in this regard.

7. *UK’s John Tinniswood, World’s Oldest Man, Passes Away at 112* : John Tinniswood, born in Liverpool, UK, on August 26, 1912, was recognized as the world’s oldest man after the death of Venezuelan Juan Vicente Perez in April 2023. He passed away peacefully at the age of 112 in a care home in Southport, England, on 25 November 2024.
