1. India announces One million dollar relief assistance for landslide-hit Papua New Guinea. A massive landslide occurred on the 24th of this month in Enga Province, Papua New Guinea which buried hundreds of people and caused major destruction and loss of life.

PM Modi has expressed grief over the the loss of lives and damage caused by the devastating landslide in Papua New Guinea.

2. Ghana’s Next-Gen Infrastructure Company (NGIC) collaborates with Reliance Jio’s subsidiary, Tech Mahindra, and Nokia to bolster its 4G and 5G capabilities.

3. Former Pakistan premier Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said that Pakistan had “violated” an agreement with Bharath signed by him and ex-prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in 1999, in an apparent reference to the Kargil misadventure by Gen Pervez Musharraf.

Sharif and Vajpayee signed the Lahore Declaration on 21 February 1999. The agreement that talked about a vision of peace and stability between the two countries.

4. Former Pakistan High Commissioner to India, Abdul Basit, recently made a startling proposal regarding the holy shrines of Sikhs in Pakistan, particularly Kartarpur Sahib.

Basit suggested that Sikhs can either get control over their holy shrines if Kartarpur corridor is sought in exchange for Jammu and Kashmir or create Khalistan and merge with Pakistan upon achieving freedom from India.
