1. PM Modi spoke to King Philippe of Belgium over phone. They discussed deepening strong bilateral ties, boosting trade and investment, and advancing collaboration in innovation and sustainability.

2. India is providing training to foreign countries in cold chain and vaccine management. The National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW) has already provided training to Nepal and Malawi and helped them assess their effective vaccine management systems.

1. In Pakistan’s Balochistan, suspected insurgents shot and killed six people from Punjab province after forcing them off a passenger bus in Gwadar district. The attackers also kidnapped three others. No group has claimed responsibility.

2. In Egypt, six people died, and nine others were injured after a tourist submarine sank in Hurghada, a popular Red Sea destination. The cause of the accident was not immediately clear. Many tourist companies have stopped or limited travel on the Red Sea due to dangers from regional conflicts.

3. In the United States, wildfires sweeping through the states of North and South Carolina have forced evacuations and prompted a state of emergency.
