1. External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar has begun a three-day official visit to Italy from November 24 to 26, 2024. He was welcomed in Rome by India’s Ambassador to Italy, Vani Rao. This trip includes participation in the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Outreach Session in Fiuggi, where India has been invited as a guest country.
2. India is actively pursuing the implementation of the Trade and Economic Partnership Agreement (TEPA) with the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which includes Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland. The TEPA was signed in March 2024 and aims to facilitate significant trade and investment opportunities between India and EFTA countries.India is aiming for $100 billion in investments from EFTA countries in next 15 years.
3. Pakistani-American businessperson and political activist, Sajid N Tarar heaped praise on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and stated that Pakistan needs a leader like PM Modi.
Speaking toat the launch of the Association of Indian American Minorities (AIAM) in Maryland, US, Tarar emphasised that India has emerged as the fifth largest economy under PM Modi’s leadership who always keeps ‘India First’.

2. A Baloch fisherman was killed and another was injured in an alleged attack by the Pakistani Coast Guard in the Jiwani area of Gwadar. The incident occurred on 23 November 2024.
3. A shooting incident occurred near the Israeli embassy in Amman, Jordan, on 23 November 2024, resulting in the death of a gunman and injuries to three Jordanian police officers.The gunman opened fire on a police patrol in the Rabiah neighbourhood, prompting police to return fire, which led to the assailant being shot dead.
