1. ISRO has successfully launched the BlueBird Block-2 satellite into a precise low-Earth orbit using the reliable LVM3-M6 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.The mission lifted off at 8:54 AM IST on 24 December 2025.
2. 1. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for a meeting with his US counterpart to hammer out the most sensitive issues in a future peace deal with Russia, such as control of territory, following the latest round of U.S.-Ukrainian talks.
2. Ukrainian troops have withdrawn from the embattled eastern town of Siversk, as Russia continues its slow and steady advance. The Ukrainian military said that it acted to preserve the lives of their soldiers and the combat capability of units, adding that Russian forces had a significant advantage in manpower.
