1. PM Modi successfully concludes three-nation visit to Nigeria, Brazil, Guyana. PM Modi participated in 31 bilateral meetings and informal interactions with global leaders during his three-nation tour.

2. Former Union Minister and BJP leader Smriti Irani joins India-UAE Roundtable, says India and UAE have shared unique relationship rooted in history. The roundtable was hosted by the Chairman of the Ajman Government Executive Council, Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, at his residence in Ajman.

3. The discussions related to the third review of the International Monetary Fund program have successfully concluded. The final meeting, held at the Presidential Secretariat, was attended by a delegation representing the IMF, led by Senior Mission Chief Peter Breuer. Representing the Sri Lankan government, the delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Professor Anil Jayantha Fernando.

4. India has sent the second consignment of “Haemo-Dialysis machines with portable RO units” to the Pacific Islands as part of the commitment made at the FIPIC Summit. The External Affairs Ministry said that three units have been sent to the Marshall Islands, and one unit each to Samoa, the Solomon Islands, and Nauru.

5. Canada on Friday stated that it is not aware of any evidence linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, external affairs minister S. Jaishankar or national security adviser Ajit Doval to any criminal activity on its soil, just days after a Canadian media report cited sources to claim that PM Modi knew beforehand of the plot to kill pro-Khalistan extremist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. India had earlier this week described the media report as “ludicrous”. Nijjar was gunned down in Canada in June last year.
